Volunteer at Mission ConneXion Alaska

Would you like to help at Mission ConneXion Alaska? The following opportunities are available:

BEFORE THE FEST:

1) Set-up the Auditorium at Friends Church – move chairs, place exhibitor tables, etc.
2) Put-up Decorations at Friends Church
3) Loan Tables (6-foot or 8-foot white plastic rectangular tables): used by exhibitors:

DURING THE EVENT (10 AM to 4 PM, Saturday, March 13th):

4) Greeters (1- to 2-hour blocks of time): Be the first smiling face attendees see at Mission ConneXion! Give out information and answer people’s basic questions. MUST attend a 30-minute training session earlier in the week.

5) Children’s Activities: Assist with various activities for kids.

6) Clean Team (1- to 2-hour blocks of time): Empty Trash, Clean-up Spills, etc.

7) Technical Assistants: (1- to 2-hour blocks of time): Set-up and maintain computer and projectors and any other AV equipment in the two rooms that workshops are held.

AFTER THE FEST AND BEFORE THE BANQUET (4 PM to 6 PM, March 13th):

8) Remove Exhibitor Tables, set-up Banquet tables and chairs:

9) Prepare Banquet Tables: Table coverings, place settings, etc.

DURING THE BANQUET (6 PM to 8 PM, March 13th):

10) Servers: Bring food from the kitchen to the serving tables, keep serving dishes full.

AFTER THE BANQUET (8 PM to 10 PM, March 13th):

11) Clean-up in the kitchen: plates, utensils, and serving/cooking ware.

12) Auditorium: Take-down banquet tables, set up chairs.
